P&O Finance Manager

As the on board Finance Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the accuracy of guests’ accounts and the processing of all card payments, as well as ordering of the ship's cash requirements and responsibility of all of the ship financial systems including the updating of pricing, promotions and individual country tax requirements. 

Working as part of the Hotel Operations team, you will oversee the cash flow on the reception desk, which includes issuing, monitoring and auditing cash floats, including the casino safe, complete reports on all financial aspects, and work alongside the finance team at Head Office.

Are you detail orientated and conscientious to ensure that every guest on board account is correct and up to date?  Do you love communicating with your colleagues so that they are kept up to date with the current promotions on board?  Are you organized to ensure that you have the correct currency on board?

To be considered for the role you must hold the relevant qualifications and experience:

• Relevant industry Qualification in Accounting.
• Previous experience of financial reporting and passenger billing
• Experience of working in finance within a hospitality environment is desirable
• Competent on the use of MS Office software, particularly Excel

Please note that the Proficiency in Survival Craft Rescue Boats (PSCRB) and Personal Survival Techniques (PST) STCW's are a requirement for this role. Further information will be provided should your application should be successful.
