Description:
The safety of the ship, equipment, passengers, crew and the safe operation of his vessel whilst at the same time responsible for protecting Company's commercial interests.
Responsible for coordinating, supporting, and delivering an exceptional guest service for our travelers in accordance with Grand Circle Cruise Line (GCCL) standards, while contributing to a positive work environment.

Primary (Non-Exhaustive) Responsibilities:
• Practicing GCCL values
• Cleanliness and appearance of the ship
• Maintaining gangway in safe condition when the vessel is in port
• Dismantling and reinstalling deck rail and sun tent, according to water level and bridge height
• Cleanliness and order of the sundeck and clean windows
• For all nautical-technical matters and for any repairs required in the hotel areas during lay up
• Care of safety equipment
• When travelling under low bridges, to be on sundeck and warn guests on the sundeck and to block the stairs
• Mooring and anchoring operations
• Porter in uniform when boarding and disembarking
• In charge for disposing of the ship’s waste
• Helping with loading and other duties as required

Skills/Qualifications:
• Schifferdienstbuch with qualifications sailor for Rhine & Danube rivers
• Minimum two years of experience in the field of desired position
• Good communication skills and ability to work in teams
• Good command of English language, German language knowledge is welcomed

• Eligilibity to work in EU
