I am currently working with an established Yacht Management Company, on an exciting position to join their growing shore based Technical Team.

The role…

This is the perfect opportunity for an ambitious Chief Engineer or Technical Superintendent to take the next step in their career shoreside in this permanent full time role, based in Europe.

As Technical Manager you will enjoy a varied role. Key responsibilities of the role include managing large projects and refits, budget management, and planning Dry Dockings. It will be your responsibility to ensure that work is completed on time, within budget and kept to company standards. During Dry Dockings you will represent the company and supervise and be responsible for all work performed under your remit.

The ideal candidates will have:

• Engineering Degree / Senior Engineering CoC
• Extensive maritime experience
• Strong Project Management experience (ideally including Newbuild / Refits / Dry Docking)
• Strong seagoing experience
• Chief Engineer onboard Superyachts for a min 5 years is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Shore based experience in a Superintendent role is an advantage
• Good attention to detail and strong budgeting experience
• It is essential that you have up to date maritime legislation knowledge
• Fluent English language skills and Computer Literacy
