NUTRITIONIST - LARGE PRIVATE ESTATE - MIDDLE EAST

Start Date: May/June 2022
Location: Saudi Arabia

Package:

Job Summary:

  • The positions of Nutritionist require liaising with the Executive Sous Chef and Chef de Cuisine on all operational needs for the Catering department and ensuring that all Service, Food preparation and production is carried out to the highest standard for the Family and guest total satisfaction, and compliance with ISO & HACCP regulations.
  • Manage all Food Requirements in a manner which ensures consistent results.
  • Develop, document, and implement food safety processes/procedures to ensure product safety is always monitored and maintained. Ensure current and future programs are manageable in the Palace environment and provide operational support to ensure ALL programs are successful.

Qualifications Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience on this field, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a professional nutritionist
  • Bachelor’s degree in nutritional science, dietetics, or relevant field
  • In-depth knowledge of biochemistry, research methods, and human physiology
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • A critical thinker with outstanding interpersonal skills

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • You will provide the clients with professional advice on how to implement and maintain a healthy lifestyle. As a specialist in food and nutrition
  • Your duties will include evaluating clients needs, planning meal plans, developing goals, and providing advice on how to stay healthy.
  • You will need to stay updated on the latest nutritional diets, research methods, and industry trends.
  • Meet and Identify their dietary needs by assessing Personal Doctors and RFD. Develop and help implement personalized nutrition plans for clients.
  • Simplify important information to Culinary Team and explain specific process and production of dishes for the specific restriction and/or diets.
  • Help establish short and long-term goals.
  • Ensuring that a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming is adhered too.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOP’s) at all time.

Work Experience Requirements

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Cruise Ship, in a 4/5* Hotel or in an Upscale Restaurant.

Language Requirements

Good knowledge of the English language is required.
