Assistant Chief Housekeeper for Ambassador Cruise Line

Your responsibility will include, but will not be limited to:

• Provide an efficient and effective housekeeping service to guests, creating ‘Ambassador
  Moments’ and leading to total guest and company satisfaction
• Monitor cleanliness of vessel by conducting daily inspections of all areas for which
  Housekeeping is responsible to ensure hygiene standards are maintained in line with company
  procedures and Public Health standards
• Ensure maintenance reports are compiled and faults recorded and followed up
• Efficiently manage the guest luggage handling process to achieve complete guest satisfaction
• Daily interaction with Housekeeping Supervisors to understand and resolve guest concerns
• Support Chief Housekeeper with personal follow up on all guest complaints to ensure they are
  responded to and resolved effectively and efficiently to complete guest satisfaction Responsible for co-ordinating and producing the Daily Programme and for the supervision of printing and distribution of programme to company standard and complete guest satisfaction
• Provide ongoing support and coaching to all housekeeping colleagues
• Any other duties as reasonably requested by Chief Housekeeper

Job requirements:

• Previous shipboard or restaurant experience in similar position
• Fluent in English – must have excellent oral communication skills
• Flexibility – must be able to work various times of the day, remain calm under pressure and
  have a can-do attitude
• Guest and service focused with a positive personality and professional appearance
• Ability to carry full trays and be on feet for long periods of time
