Assistant Maitre D - Cruise

I am looking for Assistant Maître D’s for a leading cruise line.

Responsibilities:

• Supervises all food and beverage service functions in the Café/Restaurant’s and Room service as assigned by the Maitre D
• Greet each customer or guest as they enter restaurants
• Book reservations
• Provide information about the restaurant to a potential patron

Requirements:

• Cruise ship experience in a similar position or a lower position with Restaurant manager experience on land
• Strong experience in a guest facing service role within a luxury environment
• Confident, well-presented with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
• Ability to speak English clearly, distinctly, and cordially with guests.
• Ability to read and write English, understand written procedures and able to present information and respond to guests, supervisors, and co-workers
