Position Summary:

This position is responsible for supporting both strategic and tactical initiatives related to these functions through facilitating data collection, reporting, analysis and formulating of processes parallel to overall business strategy. The individual must have knowledge of shipboard operations and shore side functions in order to facilitate analysis and be able to work in partnership with other functional areas and to provide added value to the guest experience and the business. The incumbent will be required to employ business process knowledge, analysis, web design and collaborate with monitor and identify operational efficiencies and maintain high operating standard. Guest Services is part of Hotel Operations and responsible for day to day support of shipboard Guest Services and Housekeeping departments.

• Must demonstrate high level of initiative, and self-motivation; ability to be self-disciplined operating effectively in a team environment.
• Must be able to work independently and function under pressure in a deadline oriented, fast paced office environment.
• Must be able to demonstrate ability to organize and analyze large volumes of data and ability to develop high quality, clear and concise presentations.
• Ability to solve practical problems with variables in situations where only limited standardization and guidance exists (multicultural staff).
• Ability to willingness to accept and manage multiple product and projects responsibilities with immediacy, demonstrating an ability to understand forecasts, targets, etc

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 3 years onboard cruise ship experience and/or corporate experience and related experience in business analysis.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Project), Hyperion, E1 and basic knowledge of Lotus Notes, AS 400 / Colonial required.

Preferences:

• Business, Finance, Hospitality or related degree field is preferred.
• Knowledge of Visual Basic.Net, Front Page or equivalent basic net programming program preferred.
• Ability to travel 25% of the time.
