Shore Excursions Manager -Recruiting in South America and Mexico

** CANDIDATES MUST HAVE SHIP EXPERIENCE IN THIS ROLE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN INTERVIEW **

Only candidates from South America and Mexico and who can join in March 2023 will be considered.

He/She will handle and administer the shipboard Shore Excursion program, including sales, port operations, related guest services, financial targets, and administrative functions. Aside from training, coaching, and developing direct reports and members of the Shore Excursion team, you will also monitor tours and inspect new excursions to constantly review quality control. Sales experience in travel and tourism, experience in presenting and speaking to large audiences, and knowledge of ports, tours, and itineraries

Requirements:

 Fluency in English.

Previous Ship Experience in the Shore Excursion Department.

Experience:

Familiarization with main highlights and attractions of each port as well as the ship’s docking location relative to each.

Knowledge,Skills and Abilities:

Willingness and personality to work within structured shipboard environment. Flexibility to report to multiple supervisors and perform multiple responsibilities. Comprehensive understanding of details of tours offered in each port.
Ability to interact with upscale and demanding clientele
Team oriented and ability to function effectively with ship and Shore side personnel Standard accounting skills, ability to comprehend & reach Sales Budget
