Position Summary:

As Staff Accountant II Payroll, you will be responsible for processing periodic payroll accurately and timely. This position requires interaction with employees on all levels of the organization.

Career snapshot: 

• Processes T&E approval, reconciliation and closing
• Processes corporate payroll action forms, including calculating any retroactive payments
• Research and process ADP checks and stop payments as needed
• Reconcile month end B/S accounts and research outstanding items
• Assist Manager with the tracking of monthly and quarterly reporting of stock options
• Process periodic payroll deduction, direct deposits and W-4s
• Reviews and verifies garnishment payments for U.S. employees
• Sorts and distributes check and advices as needed
• Handles payroll related questions and inquiries from employees and their managers
• Integral part of the department responsible for the proper accounting and processing of payrolls

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a four year college; or Four to five years of Payroll related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of, and be able to apply, payroll rules, practices and regulations
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be literate in Windows operating systems, Excel, Word and Power Point
• Must have knowledge of PeopleSoft HRMS, KRONOS T&E and ADP Payroll systems
