The Travel Coordinator is responsible for the creation and development of personalized Overnight, Overland Journeys and multiple night FIT requests for Residents and Guests.

Responsibilities

• Meets with Residents & Guests to gain knowledge and understand their “off the ship” travel needs; designs and arranges highly personalized trips accordingly
• Act as the champion for all FIT requests and Overland Journeys
• Responsible for ensuring fellow members of The World’s Concierge team are fully versed and knowledgeable on Overland Journey itinerary highlights and attributes including the administration of ad-hoc learning presentations
• Responsible for distribution of all supporting travel materials for each booking made
• Provide additional support to Residents throughout the planning process up and including post trip follow up

Hiring Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in destination travel planning or within the Front Office, Concierge or similar position, on a luxury cruise ship, private club, boutique hotel, luxury hotel or resort and/or destination planning travel and programming
• Extensive worldwide destination knowledge, ports of call and tour-based information
• Degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
• Experience managing a multi-cultural team
• Good computer skills to include Word, Excel and Outlook
• Hands on experience with travel booking and CRM software; knowledge of Peak15 is an asset
• Excellent English skills both written and verbal
• One additional language (German, French, Italian, Spanish) preferred
• Active membership with Les Clefs d’Or preferred
