In our world, smaller is better, and we believe in keeping the experience on board uncrowded, warm and civilised - treating passengers as guests, like the family run business we are.

It would be easy to follow the trends and go with the crowds. But we never will.

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines is a family run company, well known for our quality cruises and the ‘personal’ touch we offer our guests.

We are now looking for experienced Nurses to work on board our cruise ships, as part of a small medical team offering 24/7 cover for guests and crew, whilst travelling the world on our exciting global itineraries.

Qualifications and skills required:

A broad range of experience in acute care including, cardiac disease, trauma/orthopaedic and acute medical emergencies.
A wide range of clinical skills, including care and assessment of acutely ill patients and management of minor injuries and medical conditions.
The ability to work independently and as an effective member of a small team.
Be passionate in delivering a high standard of care to our guests and crew.
Candidates must be Registered Nurses with at least 3 years’ experience in an acute area such A&E or Medical Assessment Unit. Consideration may also be given to those with experience in Intensive or Cardiac care.
Working on passenger ships at least a minimum of 2 contracts will be desirable.
Current Advance Life Support (ALS) certificate and Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Ability to read, write and speak English clearly and distinctly.
STCW training certification.
