Kids animation summer season 2024
Our customer is a German shipping company that connects the ports of Lübeck-Travemünde and Rostock-Überseehafen in Germany as well as Świnoujście in Poland with the Swedish port of Trelleborg. It offers kids animation for its little passengers on its ferries during the summer months. For this coming season we are looking for experienced kids animators who will carry out the kids animation program aboard the ferries, so that the kids have a nice, entertaining crossing.

• port of embarkation: Swinoujscie, Poland
• place of kids animation: aboard 1 of 6 ferries
• number of kids animators per ferry: 1 – 2 (depending on the ferry and period)
• working hours per day: max. 7 hours between approx. 8 AM and 11 PM
• working days and availability: by arrangement, at least 2 weeks in the above mentioned period
• responsibilities: kids animation, keeping the kids area clean and tidy, passenger greeting upon embarkation
• induction and communication of tasks: in advance in writing, by telephone
• kids programs and documents are made available digitally
• board language: Polish, English and German

Kids animation on board

• theme: vikings, pirate or elf
• per crossing: three-part kids program packed with simple games and a playful educational character on the topic of sustainability and Sweden with a treasure hunt and kids disco
• important: you will carry out the program in Polish and English

We provide during deployment

• single cabin (subject to availability)
• full board, water, coffee and tea
• internet access (subject to availability)
• use of fitness area, sauna and whirlpool (subject to availability)
• use of the washing machines and dryers on board
• costumes and materials

Requirements

• several years of experience as a kids animator; preferably already on a ship
• experiences in interacting with kids ages 3 and up
• impeccable, extended police clearance certificate
• reliable and customer-oriented
• be able to approach kids openly and proactively
• don't be afraid to speak in front of groups
• team-oriented
• very good knowledge of Polish and English - German is a nice-to-have
• possibility to work as a freelancer or as short-term employment (main job should be „student“)

Compensation

• salary: EUR xxx / working day (will be discussed)
