The HVAC Assistant shall carry out assignments and complete work orders as directed by the A/C Engineer with regards to maintenance and repair work on the vessel’s ventilation, air conditioning, provision, galley and bar equipment cooling systems and components. The holder of this position must be a skilled technician, capable of working with minimum supervision and with the ability to carry out basic HVAC troubleshooting , maintenance and repair works.

We are looking for Reefer Assistant ready to join cruise vessel AZAMARA JOURNEY 

Embarkation ASAP

Contract 7 months +/-1, Salary in USD/per month worked!

 

- C1/D visa if possible

- Must hold certificate/diploma in refrigeration and ventilation.

- Knowledge of ventilation, cooling, freezing equipment plus air conditioning equipment

- Knowledge of maintenance and care of all refrigerators/walk-in coolers/ cold water drinking fountains/ mini bars with refrigerant/ice making machines

- Able to assist AC Eng in proper maintenance of fire dampers, shut off dampers & Gaylord systems for all AC and ventilation ducts. 

- 3 or more years progressive tech. experience & training in the field

- min 2years cruise ship experience

- Confident in international work environment

 - High level of English spoken and comprehension
