Job Summary:

The Dining Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the dining services on board, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction through the efficient management of restaurant operations. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage the daily dining operations across all onboard restaurants, bars, and food outlets.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service in line with MSC Cruises’ policies.
• Coordinate with the Executive Chef and F&B Manager to ensure smooth food and beverage operations.
• Implement and monitor service standards, guest satisfaction metrics, and quality control procedures.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of dining staff, fostering a positive team environment.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Manage inventory, supplies, and budgeting related to dining operations.
• Enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards as per international maritime regulations.
• Prepare reports and performance analyses for senior management.

Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Dining Manager or similar role in a high-volume hospitality environment, preferably on cruise ships.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP certification is a plus).
• Ability to work in a multicultural and fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English (additional languages are an asset).
• Availability to work onboard for extended contracts.
