Position Summary:
The Revenue & Marketing Manager is responsible for maximizing onboard revenue and guest engagement by developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives across retail, spa, shore excursions, and other revenue-generating departments. This role analyzes sales performance, identifies opportunities for growth, coordinates onboard promotions, and ensures brand alignment across all guest touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Optimization:
- Monitor and analyze onboard revenue streams.
- Develop pricing strategies and promotional plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Collaborate with department heads (e.g., Retail, Spa, Shore Excursions) to align revenue objectives.
Marketing & Promotion:
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns and daily promotions across onboard revenue centers.
- Oversee visual merchandising, onboard digital signage, and printed collateral.
- Ensure brand consistency and compliance with corporate marketing standards.
Guest Engagement:
- Drive guest participation through strategic communications, announcements, and activities.
- Leverage guest data to tailor offers and experiences.
- Evaluate guest feedback and market trends to improve campaign effectiveness.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare daily and voyage-end revenue reports.
- Track KPIs and conduct post-campaign performance reviews.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve performance.
Team Collaboration:
- Work cross-functionally with Hotel, Cruise, and Entertainment departments.
- Train and support onboard teams in promotional execution and sales techniques.
- Act as liaison between shipboard operations and corporate office for marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Hospitality Management.
- 3+ years of experience in revenue management or marketing, preferably in hospitality, retail, or cruise industry.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Proficiency in marketing tools, Excel, and CRM/reporting systems.
Language & Physical Requirements:
- Fluent in English (verbal and written); additional languages preferred.
