Responsibilities
* Provide a luxury culinary experience to all guests in all onboard venues (Restaurants, Bar, Bistro, and Room Service).
* Ensure the best possible dining experience for all our guests, paying special attention to guests with special needs and dietary requirements.
* Follow the work schedule, section plans, and rotations, and perform any additional duties (such as gangway duties, store loading, luggage handling, in-room breakfast service), as scheduled by the Restaurant Manager and according to needs.
* Ensure a smooth and efficient meal service through constant communication with guests and the kitchen.
* Ensure all equipment is stored properly and safely when not in use.
* Report maintenance requests to supervisors when deficiencies are noticed or maintenance is required, and follow up on these requests promptly.
* Accurately complete the monthly maintenance log and present it to the Restaurant Manager promptly.
* Comply with all Company Policies and Procedures, Manuals, and Directives.
* Other duties as assigned, not limited to those listed above.
Financial Responsibilities
* Ensure Company property is properly maintained at all times.
Safety Responsibilities
* Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in all working areas at all times.
* Practice safe lifting techniques.
* Perform port handling duties according to the set schedule and Company policy.
* Ensure all equipment is stored properly and safely when not in service.
Emergency Duties
* Follow the instructions listed in the Safety Manual.
* Participate in lifeboat drills for both guests and crew, as instructed.
* Perform other safety-related responsibilities as assigned, not limited to those listed above.
Required Qualifications
* High school diploma and relevant experience in food service.
* Preferably one year of experience in a luxury hotel.
* Conversational level of English.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Participation in onboard HACCP training.
* Initiative and ability to work independently.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Service-oriented attitude with an open, charming, and friendly personality.
Team Communication and Meetings
* Maintain constant communication with the Restaurant Manager.
* Attend meetings with the Restaurant Manager as requested.
