Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines is a family run company, well known for our quality cruises and the ‘personal’ touch we offer our guests.

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Fitter to join our team.
As a Senior Fitter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment.

More specific duties include:

• In direct contact with 1st Engineer on progress of the tasks given during morning meetings.
• Maintenance and repairs as directed by 1st Engineer, machining, welding, mainly in the machinery spaces but if required throughout the vessel;
• Works on main propulsion machinery under supervision of 1st Engineer;
• In charge of Engine Workshop, responsible for safe working practice, cleanness and proper condition of workshop and equipment;
• In control of tools and consumables, reporting all deficiencies to 1st Engineer / Staff Chief Engineer;
• Co-operate and advise other Fitters for shared use of facilities and resources;

We are looking for individuals that possess the following essential skills and qualities:

• Proven experience as a Fitter or Senior Fitter in Cruise lines
• Senior engine rating experience
• Welding experience
