This role is critical in curating and delivering a refined onboard and shoreside experience tailored to our predominantly U.S.-based clientele. The ideal candidate brings a warm presence, a proactive mindset, and a strong understanding of North American guest expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Guest Activities & Engagement

  • Plan, organize, and host daily onboard activities such as yoga, Pilates, wellness walks, and light fitness classes.
  • Collaborate with musicians and entertainers to offer interactive experiences (e.g., music trivia, dance events, social games).
  • Assist with spontaneous guest entertainment requests and adjust programming to meet real-time guest interest.
  • Organize shoreside activities, such as guided walks, beach yoga, SUP, and accompanying active excursions (hikes, cycling tours).
  • Ensure that all activities maintain a high standard of quality, safety, and relevance to guest preferences.

2. Cruise Program Support & Administration:

  • Assist the Cruise Director in crafting the Daily Program and Cruise Plan.
  • Act as liaison for guest questions, concerns, and feedback, especially relating to excursions, entertainment, and activities.
  • Support administrative duties including excursion evaluations, guest satisfaction tracking, and documentation.

3. Guest Interaction & Hospitality:

  • Serve as a visible and engaging ambassador of the ship, ensuring warm and consistent interaction with guests, particularly those from the U.S.
  • Represent the cruise line’s brand and charter client interests in all passenger-facing scenarios.
  • Support embarkation/disembarkation processes and contribute to seamless first and last impressions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in guest-facing roles on cruise ships, luxury resorts, or within the tourism sector, ideally in both activity coordination and guest relations.
  • Formal training in hospitality, sports/fitness, or tourism is strongly preferred.
  • Fluent in English (native or near-native level); German or other languages are a plus.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the expectations of U.S. guests (service style, communication, activity preferences).
  • Strong public speaking, hosting, and social engagement skills.
  • Active, energetic, and presentable with a passion for people and service.
