Position Summary:

The incumbent is responsible for supporting the designs, policies, practices, and procedures that properly manage the full system data lifecycle needs of RCI's Maintenance Operations for both fleet and shoreside. This role is critical to the long term strategy of Amos Operations by performing recommendations regarding the health of the company's maintenance system data and subsequent hardware assets. They play a vital role in the proper Maintenance Data Operation which is essential for the satisfaction of regulatory and compliance agencies and key to the cost saving strategy of various RCI operations departments.

Career Snapshot:

• Assist the Amos Ops Manager in developing RCIu00bfs Data Architecture, Analysis and Design needs for the Amos System.
• Communicates with various departments within RCI to ensure all areas of shipboard maintenance data and systems are sufficiently represented in the Amos Operations Data Strategy.
• Creates system reports as needed for Amos Operations to use for analysis of costs and data stability.
• Creates system queries as needed for Amos Operations to use for analysis of costs, maintenance compliance and overall data stability.
• Provides guidance to traveling data management team shipboard to ensure that all data efforts in the fleet are in line with Amos Operations Data Management strategy.
• Provides guidance to Newbuilding team to ensure that data integrity starts at the Newbuild stage, to ensure long-term success in the life cycle of the vessels data.Communicate directly to Manager AMOS
• Operations upon any concern regarding data. Keeps the Manager AMOS operations informed about the progress and status on the overall data content and system performance in the AMOS database.
• Additional duties as may be assigned by the Manager AMOS Operations. Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology related field
• 2-3 proven experience/skills with Database content and data manipulation tools.
• Experience / documented abilities to construct SQL queries, develop code in Powerbuilder, experience managing a large Oracle database.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
