Position Summary:
The Director of Loyalty position will lead Celebrity's strategy and commercial direction for the Captain's Club program. The role will be vital to drive increased revenue and engagement from the membership base thru varied strategies. Core to the roles success will be building and leading a comprehensive program plan that entails contact strategy, retention tactics, promotional engagement and attrition tools. The Director will need to engage many different departments across the company to ensure alignment and obtain buy-in on program changes and evolution and make sure core KPIs are both understood and met. This person will also oversee development of credit card program as well as partnership opportunities. The position will need to continuously work to evolve the program to ensure it is both competitive as well as industry leading in the cruise industry as well as versus other travel loyalty programs.
Career Snapshot:
- Build and implement the loyalty strategic and marketing program to deliver upon agreed KPIs for the Captain's Club program.
- Develop and lead commercial focus of the loyalty program with keen focus on revenue drivers, promotional elements and retention.
- Champion customer research, analyze market conditions and competitor data and implement marketing plan changes as needed.
- Collaborate on media plan to ensure program and loyalty messaging resonate where needed.
- Partners with sales team to build a pipeline of lead generation and awareness activities through co-marketing campaigns, trade agency activities and consumer events
- Collaborate with credit card team on areas where both loyalty and co-brand card can drive greater engagement and revenue growth.
- Coordinate effective PR strategy and cadence to garner recognition for program improvements and overall guest satisfaction and engagement.
- Be the voice of loyalty across both shoreside and shipboard teams providing actionable feedback for effective marketing messaging, campaigns and PR
- Review all loyalty marketing collateral to ensure all key strategic objectives are being delivered on.
- Engage with website team to ensure functionality and content are driving towards core loyalty KPIs.
- Ensure social channels are maximized to retain and engage with loyalty members in meaningful ways.
- Be the liaison between top 10 intensification teams and loyalty team and provide local sales support materials and presentations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 7 years of previous marketing experience, especially consumer engagement, promotion execution and retention strategies.
- Demonstrated advanced ability to implement and execute off of strategic direction.
- Previous experience working in travel or hospitality industry a plus
- Experience managing loyalty program
