Main Function

The Specialty Restaurant Supervisor oversees the daily operations of specialty dining venues on board, ensuring an exceptional guest experience. Responsible for supervising and motivating the restaurant team, maintaining high standards of service, and supporting management objectives.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in oral and written English (working & safety language of the Company)
  • Proven experience in specialty restaurant or fine dining operations, preferably on cruise ships or in international hospitality settings
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a team environment

Main Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of specialty restaurants, ensuring outstanding guest satisfaction
  • Train, coach, and motivate restaurant staff, including waiters and assistant supervisors
  • Coordinate reservations, seating arrangements, and service flow for optimal efficiency
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and adherence to service standards
  • Address guest feedback and resolve complaints professionally
  • Collaborate with kitchen and other departments for seamless service delivery
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
  • Assist in inventory management, cost control, and operational efficiency
