Maître d'hôtel with German language skills – Amadeus River Cruises

Amadeus River Cruises is seeking an experienced Maître d'hôtel to lead our food and beverage service teams across multiple venues including the restaurant, Panorama Lounge, Amadeus Club, Café Vienna, and Sun Deck. This role is central to delivering refined, guest-focused service and managing all aspects of onboard F&B.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise restaurant and bar teams, ensuring professional service
• Manage guest dietary needs, and special events
• Conduct daily briefings and regular staff training
• Oversee beverage inventory, cost control, and process compliance
• Coordinate working schedules and maintain hygiene standards

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within a 4- or 5‑star hospitality environment, either shore‑based or onboard a cruise vessel
• Excellent knowledge of restaurant and bar operations
• Fluent in English and German; additional languages are a plus
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Service-oriented with a focus on guest satisfaction
