Executive Chef – Amadeus River Cruises

We are hiring Executive Chefs to lead galley operations aboard our luxury river cruise vessels. This role oversees all culinary activities, ensuring exceptional food quality, efficient operations, and compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage kitchen staff and galley operations
  • Execute seasonal menus and special dining events
  • Oversee food inventory, budgeting, and HACCP compliance
  • Cater to special dietary needs and crew meals
  • Maintain hygiene standards and conduct regular inspections

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in a 4- or 5-star hotel or cruise ship
  • Strong culinary and kitchen management skills
  • Fluent in English and/or German
  • Proven ability to manage costs and minimize waste
  • Calm under pressure, well-organized, and adaptable
