About the Role

We are seeking an Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and guest satisfaction. This leadership role is central to maintaining immaculate staterooms and public areas, managing inventories, and delivering exceptional service in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Maintain guest staterooms and public areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Manage inventories, purchase orders, and uniform distribution.
• Supervise and coach a multicultural housekeeping team, fostering professional development and crew satisfaction.
• Prepare and monitor staff schedules, ensuring compliance with labor laws and operational needs.
• Handle guest services such as laundry, newspapers, cabin gifts, and VIP treatments.
• Conduct routine inspections, enforce HACCP and safety standards, and participate in safety drills.
• Document and escalate issues to the Hotel Manager, ensuring timely resolution.

People Management

• Lead by example, promoting respect, fairness, and company values.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and support to staff, ensuring smooth integration of new crew members.
• Uphold uniform, grooming, and professional appearance standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within a 4‑ or 5‑star hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations and sanitary regulations.
• Proficiency in English; German considered a plus.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and coaching skills.
• Ability to thrive in a multicultural environment with flexible working hours.
• Professional demeanor with meticulous attention to detail and guest‑centric service approach.
