Fitter - Facility and Engine (Tig Welding)

The Facility and Engine Fitter is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and fabricating mechanical equipment and facility infrastructure. The role includes engine fitting work and TIG welding to support safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out fitting, maintenance, and repair of engines and mechanical equipment

Perform TIG welding for fabrication and repair of components

Maintain facility structures, piping, and mechanical systems

Diagnose basic mechanical faults and carry out repairs

Follow safety procedures and maintenance standards

Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized

Requirements:

Experience as a fitter, mechanic, or similar trade

TIG welding experience required

Ability to read basic drawings and specifications

Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Relevant trade qualifications or certifications preferred
