We are seeking an experienced Butcher. This position is critical to ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and guest satisfaction. You will be responsible for cutting, portioning, and preparing all meat and poultry products in compliance with international food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store meat and poultry supplies.
- Cut, trim, debone, and portion meats according to menu requirements.
- Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation practices in all preparation areas.
- Collaborate with chefs to ensure consistency and minimize waste.
- Monitor inventory and assist with requisitions.
- Operate and maintain butchery equipment safely.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, USPH, and cruise line standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Butcher in hotels, restaurants, or cruise ships.
- Strong knowledge of meat preparation and preservation methods.
- Familiarity with HACCP and USPH standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Culinary certification or vocational training preferred.
