As Multi Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining the libraries and records related to digital assets used in the production of shore excursions print, video and other media. You will be the gatekeeper for RCL asset libraries and works to fulfill requests and process inbound and outbound media.
Career Snapshot:
- Creates and tracks requests for images to be used in print, web and video production. Includes sourcing images from stock libraries, tour operators, tourism agencies, etc.
- Processes images for web by color correcting, adding metadata, and cropping to specified templates.
- Maintains inventory of incoming media including images, footage, logos, graphics, etc.
- Maintains inventory of assets including finished collateral including videos, flyers, brochures, etc.
- Maintains inventory of assets in enterprise-wide Digital Asset Management database. This includes adding metadata to media files and uploading to the DAM.
- Maintains records related to licensing of 3rd party submitted media
- Maintains records related to released talent appearing in media produced in-house
- Acts as liaison to shipboard teams: Creates program orders and tracks delivery of media to ships scheduled based on itinerary changes. This includes content for broadcast channel, ITV, digital signage, iPad suites, and any other platforms where shore excursions are promoted.
- Distributes finished collateral for use across other platforms including web, mobile applications, etc.
- Handles media requests from internal and external clients
Requirements:
- 2 years working in a media production environment
- Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Detail oriented with very strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in fast paced environment.
- Strong communication skills are required as this position regularly interacts with many functions in the organization.
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Media Encoder. Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Access. Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to media production.
- Strong understanding of current trends in video and multimedia production
- Strong understanding of media encoding software and codecs. Strong understanding of digital asset management. Strong understanding of copyright law
- Familiarity with digital platforms including social networking, file sharing, blogging, video sharing, podcasts, etc.

- Marketing background
- Multilingual
- Preferred knowledge of world geography and iconic attractions.
