 Pullmantur is currently seeking Photographers to join our team on board.

The selected candidate will be responsible for persuading passengers to pose for pictures and operating a camera and a variety of photographic accessories to photograph them using digital camera. Also, the candidate will be photographing passengers at a variety of events according to established schedules and policies, and ensure that photographs have proper composition, color and balance.

This position requires availability to work on board during six months, and after that the candidate will be able to enjoy a minimum two month vacation before the next possible embarkation.

Potential candidates must have previous experience as a Photographer and experience with Digital photography of the public, and also possess a Digital Photo Camera.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Selects and assembles equipment according to subject material, anticipated conditions and knowledge of function and limitations of various types of cameras, lenses and accessories.
• Poses passengers to take appropriate photographs with desired result.
• Estimates or measures light level, using light meter or create artificial lighting with flash units, lights and lighting equipment.
• Adjusts lens aperture and shutter speed bases on combination of factors such as lighting, depth of field and film speed.
• Cuts and codes finished photographs and places in display for passengers view.
• Encourages passengers to make additional purchases by offering additional products.
• Charge payment for passengers, records prices and totals purchases on the register.
• Acts as a character (e.g. Pirate, Roman Soldier) for photo shoots as assigned by the Superior.
• Creates basic designs with Photo Shop, Adobe Lightroom and complementary photo softwares.
• Take part in any additional activity assigned.

Hiring requirements:

• Ability to read, write and speak in English clearly and distinctly + Intermediate level of Spanish or French or Portuguese is also required. Language tests will be applied.
• Ability to accommodate to a six months on / two months off contract schedule for this onboard position.
• Ability to adjust to, and to work in a multi national environment.
• A valid passport (minimum 1 year counting from the embarkation date).
• A valid Standards of Training, Certification & Watchkeeping (STCW) certificate.
• Ability to obtain the required visa, depending on the embarkation port.
• Pass Pullmantur pre-employment medical examination.
• Pass a criminal background check.Have a Seaman’s book (desirable).
• Ability to participate in emergency life-saving drills and required training.
