Faststream Recruitment is partnering with a leading international cruise operator to recruit an experienced Hotel Director for its award-winning fleet.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced hospitality leader with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, leading high-performing teams, and driving operational excellence in a luxury environment.

The Role
Reporting to the Captain, you will have overall responsibility for the onboard hotel operation, ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction, service delivery, financial performance, and team engagement across all hotel departments.

Working closely with senior shipboard management, you will lead a large multicultural team while ensuring every aspect of the guest experience exceeds expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership across all hotel departments onboard.
  • Deliver exceptional guest satisfaction through outstanding service standards.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a large multicultural management team.
  • Drive financial performance, budgeting, and cost control across the hotel operation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety, and public health standards.
  • Collaborate with shipboard leadership to deliver a seamless guest experience.
  • Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Hotel Director within the luxury cruise industry.
  • Proven leadership experience managing large hotel operations in a luxury hospitality environment.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and operational performance.
  • Exceptional guest service and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Experience leading and developing multicultural teams.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Valid Seagoing documentation or willingness to obtain.
