1. Key Information / Job Facts
Location: On board international cruise ships (various global destinations)
Start Date: Upon completion of onboarding and training requirements
Contract Type: Fixed-term contract (approximately 5 months +/- 1 month)
Working Hours: Full-time, shift-based schedule including weekends and holidays
Accommodation: Shared double cabin provided onboard
Travel & Meals: Fully covered by the company
Salary: Monthly Gross Salary: €2,791 + Performance Bonus at 100% Target Achievement: €1,050
2. Job Description
As a Company Ambassador, you will play a key role in supporting onboard revenue generation by promoting and selling products and services offered throughout the ship. Acting as a trusted point of contact for guests, you will identify customer needs, recommend suitable experiences, and collaborate with multiple departments to maximize guest satisfaction and onboard revenue.
Key responsibilities include:
Promoting and selling onboard products and services, including shore excursions, Wi-Fi packages, beverage packages, specialty dining, retail offers, and other revenue-generating experiences.
Building positive relationships with guests and acting as an onboard consultant for available products and services.
Identifying potential customers through proactive engagement and recommending relevant offers based on guest interests and preferences.
Applying cross-selling and upselling techniques to increase revenue and enhance the guest experience.
Supporting onboard departments in achieving sales targets and maximizing participation in revenue-generating activities.
Delivering engaging presentations and storytelling to showcase the value and benefits of onboard offerings.
Handling guest inquiries, objections, and concerns professionally while providing excellent customer service.
Monitoring sales performance and contributing ideas to improve productivity and revenue results.
Participating in onboard revenue meetings and supporting sales initiatives led by management.
Promoting compliance with safety, health, environmental, and security procedures.
Assisting in creating memorable guest experiences through personalized recommendations and service excellence.
3. Requirements / The Ideal Candidate Should Have:
Minimum high school diploma (degree in Marketing, Tourism, Languages, Business, or a related field is an advantage).
Minimum 1 year of sales experience; B2C sales experience is highly preferred.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
Proven ability to achieve sales targets and work in a performance-driven environment.
Fluency in English (C1 level).
Fluency in Italian (C1 level).
Fluency in a third language (minimum B2 level): Spanish, French, or German.
Additional languages such as Portuguese or Mandarin are considered an asset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to analyze sales performance indicators and customer trends.
Strong teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities.
Willingness to live and work onboard a cruise ship for the entire contract period.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism, and guest service.

5. Salary / Employment Conditions:
Employment Type: Seasonal / Fixed-Term Contract (approximately 5 months +/- 1 month)
Salary Package:
Gross Monthly Salary: €2,791
Variable Bonus at 100% Target Achievement: €1,050
Salary includes all contractual wage components, navigation allowances, holiday bonuses, accrued leave, compensatory leave, and severance pay.
Working Hours: Full-time, shift-based schedule including weekends and public holidays.
Travel, Accommodation & Meals: Fully covered by the employer.
