Faststream Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Assistant Systems Manager on behalf of a leading luxury ocean cruise operator.

This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional to join a world-class onboard team, supporting the Systems Manager with the maintenance and operation of IT systems, networks, hardware and software across the vessel.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the maintenance of onboard IT systems, networks, servers and hardware.
• Troubleshoot and repair PCs, printers and other technical equipment.
• Provide IT support and basic systems training to crew and guests.
• Support guest-facing technology, including WiFi, televisions and digital systems.
• Respond to technical issues and ensure critical systems remain operational.
• Assist the Systems Manager with daily IT operations and inventory control.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year's experience working with IT systems, including end-user support and systems administration.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field, with formal IT hardware and software training.
• Strong PC hardware, software and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong administrative and communication skills.
• Experience with MXP is preferred.
• Flexible, service-focused and able to work effectively under pressure.
