Position Summary:
The position provides critical support to the EVP, Global Sales & Marketing and VP, Corporate Planning, in all financial aspects, anticipating risks and opportunities in the Global Sales & Marketing organization. The person will lead all aspects of financial, planning and analysis support across 13 markets. The responsibility will include coordinating and communicating financial results to management and other key constituencies as well as financial leadership for all critical business processes and projects, including support and participation in the development, assessment and implementation of the Global Sales & Marketing strategy. The Candidate will also be responsible for adding value to the business and focus on identifying opportunities for growth and efficiencies as well as executing and implementing related systems and processes. The Candidate must be able to ensure outstanding compliance with all company policies and accounting rules, as well as communicate and monitor compliance of others as appropriate, including all branch offices of Royal Caribbean International. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.

- Provides critical support to the EVP, Global Sales & Marketing and VP, Corporate Planning, in all areas of Finance and Administration, acting as a key advisor in the continued growth of the business and building solid business cases for new opportunities.
- Anticipates risks and develops appropriate solutions in a timely manner.
- Manages and leads the central financial planning and analysis team (5 based in UK and 1 based in Miami) including the optimization of the Global Sales & Marketing forecasting system (Londplan cube).
- Provides seamless support for the regional Managing Directors and in particular their commercial and finance support to identify, coordinate and maximize any commercial opportunities. The Candidate must ensure the business has the maximum chance to achieve its targets and maximize its profits. This will include flagging up risks and opportunities together with action plans to address. The planning processes include the 5 year Strategic Plan, the Annual Operating Plan and the monthly forecast. This is a particularly proactive element of the role requiring the individual to take a good strategic and commercial view while interacting with all international offices.
- Manages the preparation of the monthly consolidation and forecasting of the financial review processes and conducts presentations to senior management with appropriate variance explanations. Also, develop and present financial presentations for various audiences.
- Liaise closely with accounting to ensure overall GAAP compliance in recording of transactions with corporate policies and procedures including Sarbanes Oxley.
- Partners with business leaders to ensure optimal results and identifies business Best Practices, including Best in Class analysis and recommendations and other operational efficiency opportunities.

Requirements:
- Graduate Degree in Business or Finance
- 10 years of management experience in a similar position.
- Knowledge and extensive experience in financial planning and analysis as well as accounting (i.e. JD Edwards, Hyperion, Excel)
- Successful track record in financial leadership
- Excellent analytical & computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to fully integrate into RCL's international and corporate cultures.
- Ability to influence senior management and the wider organization to gain business wide buy-in.
Preferred:
- Active CPA license.
