Faststream Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Hotel General Manager on behalf of a leading luxury ocean cruise operator.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished hospitality leader to take responsibility for the entire onboard Hotel Operation, leading multiple department heads and delivering exceptional standards of guest service, operational performance and crew engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the complete onboard Hotel Operation and Hotel Department Heads.
• Drive exceptional guest service and maintain the highest hospitality standards.
• Provide visible, hands-on leadership across hotel operations.
• Oversee budgets, cost control, revenue performance, inventory and onboard finances.
• Lead, develop and motivate a diverse, multicultural team.
• Ensure compliance with Public Health, Safety, Environmental and operational standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Hotel General Manager.
• Previous shipboard experience within the luxury sector is essential.
• Strong experience in financial analysis, budgeting, cost control and revenue management.
• Proven experience leading multicultural teams within a luxury hospitality environment.
• Exceptional leadership, communication and guest-service skills.
• Fluent English; additional languages are advantageous.
