Faststream Recruitment is working with a leading international cruise operator to recruit a Front Desk Manager to join its onboard team.

This role would suit an experienced cruise professional with a strong background in Front Desk operations and proven leadership experience within an onboard guest-facing environment.

The Role

As Front Desk Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the Front Desk, ensuring guests receive a professional, efficient and welcoming service throughout their time onboard.

You will lead the Front Desk team, manage guest enquiries and concerns, and ensure the department operates smoothly while maintaining high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operation of the Front Desk.
• Lead, support and develop the Front Desk team.
• Ensure guests receive a professional and efficient service.
• Handle and resolve guest enquiries, requests and concerns.
• Monitor service standards and ensure consistent delivery.
• Work closely with other onboard departments to resolve guest issues effectively.
• Support the training and development of Front Desk team members.
• Ensure company procedures and operational standards are followed.

Requirements

• A minimum of two years' experience working as a Front Desk Manager onboard a cruise ship.
• Previous cruise experience in rank is essential.
• Strong knowledge of Front Desk and guest services operations.
• Previous experience leading and managing a team.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• A confident and professional approach to guest interaction.
• The ability to work effectively within a busy, international cruise environment.
