Join an international cruise line as a Chef de Partie and develop your culinary career in a dynamic, high-volume galley environment at sea.

This opportunity would suit an experienced cruise ship chef with a strong background in international cuisine, excellent culinary skills and the ability to maintain consistent food quality in a fast-paced kitchen. You will play an important role in delivering a high standard of dining across multiple onboard restaurants and dining venues.

What you'll be doing

• Managing the daily operation of your assigned kitchen section and ensuring food is prepared to the required standards.
• Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes in line with established recipes and portion controls.
• Maintaining consistency in food quality, taste and presentation across all services.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards, including USPH requirements.
• Monitoring stock levels, managing ingredients efficiently and minimising food waste.
• Supporting junior team members and working closely with senior chefs to ensure smooth galley operations.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment at all times.

What you'll need
Essential

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar professional kitchen role onboard a cruise ship.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and international cuisine.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume kitchen.
• Strong teamwork, communication and organisational skills.

Preferred

• Experience across multiple onboard dining venues.
• Familiarity with USPH standards and large-scale food production.

Contract & package

• Salary: USD 1,650–2,200 per month
• Rotation: 8 months onboard followed by 2 months' leave
• Worldwide itineraries
