Galley Electrician – Large Cruise Ship

We are seeking an experienced Galley Electrician to join a large cruise ship currently undergoing an extensive maintenance and refurbishment project in Belfast.

• Contract Duration: 8 months
• Required Documents: Valid C1/D visa and ILO 98 Seaman’s Book

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment within the vessel’s galley and food service areas.

The role will involve supporting both planned and reactive maintenance during the vessel’s refurbishment programme, ensuring galley equipment remains safe, operational and compliant with onboard standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Galley Electrician or in a similar marine electrical role
• Strong experience maintaining and repairing commercial galley equipment
• Good knowledge of electrical fault finding and troubleshooting
• Experience working with ovens, ranges, dishwashers, refrigeration interfaces and other galley equipment
• Previous shipboard experience
• Valid STCW certification
• Valid C1/D visa
• ILO 98-compliant Seaman’s Book
• Available to join at short notice

Previous experience onboard large cruise ships would be advantageous.
