As Sr. Analyst Executive Compensation, you will be responsible for the implementation of executive compensation programs and policies. You will support the design and development of executive compensation programs. You will also serve as a subject matter expert on the three main components of executive compensation: base pay, variable pay, and equity compensation. In addition, you will work with stakeholders across the organization to ensure our compensation practices are fair, competitive, equitable, and are aligned with business goals. You will report to the VP, Global Total Rewards, and work closely with the VP and Chief Human Resources Officer, and the Human Resource Business Partners.
Career Snapshot:
- Evaluate executive positions using existing job evaluation methodology, market pricing, and internal equity to determine pay ranges and wage grids. Conduct competitive framework analysis and make appropriate recommendations.
- Maintain all updated executive compensation plan documents, as well as, participate in the development and implementation of compensation communications to the executives.
- Oversee the design, implementation, administration, and eligibility of the Executive Short Term Bonus plans and participants, as well as maintain the monthly accruals based on the annual forecasts.
- Oversee the administration and documentation of equity programs, develop compensation communication and training materials to maximize understanding and perceived value.
- Maintain current job descriptions, job evaluation and market pricing. Monitor internal and external competitor trends affecting total reward systems and translate them into design recommendations.
- Prepares in partnership with Legal and Towers Watson information for the Executive Summary of the companyu00bfs proxy statement every year. Prepares all Compensation related tables to be used in the Executive Summary of the Proxy.
- Ensure all compensation programs comply with applicable laws and regulations; stay abreast of evolving thinking of governmental entities in anticipation of future changes.
- Partner with Audit and Legal to ensure compliance and consistency of HR processes across the organization; and analyze the processes and work flow to make sound recommendations for improvement and efficiency.
- Conduct and actively participate in compensation analyses and compensation survey job matching and benchmarking.
- Prepares preliminary materials for the compensation committee and executive compensation consultants.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Business Administration degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
- At least 7-8 years experience within a Human Resources Department required with a minimum of 5 years in Compensation, administering compensation policies, procedures, and practices.
- Must be familiar and proficient with position evaluation methodology, federal/state rules, regulations regarding compensation and familiar with SEC's Executive Compensation requirements, etc.
- In depth knowledge of HR and compensation/benefits functions, processes, and data management required.
- Must have excellent mathematical and analytical skills, including knowledge of statistics and a high attention to detail, and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as word, PowerPoint, and excel.
- Must have excellent writing skills and present information to top management.
- Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Preferences:
- MS and/or MBA
- Experience with Equity Administration Systems and International Compensation.
