Housekeeping for River Cruises 2014

Age: 25 – 45 years

Languages: English spoken German spoken English / German written Other languages

Education / Training: Completed training (school) Completed vocational training for the hotel or service industry. Additional specific training / education.

Professional experience 3 years of management experience in a comparable position. Experience as chambermaid on ships. Several years of management experience, preferably as housekeeper on cruise vessels, preferably river cruises. Experience in servicing US-clientele

Personal profile: Independence, management and motivating skills, flexibility, organisational skills, loyalty, honesty and objectivity. Stress resistant and with a high sense of cleanness and hygiene. Impeccable appearance.

Start, end of Season March till November

Duration of contract 8 months

Qualification: Experience in cruise line industry would be an advantage, but not absolutely necessary.

Working hours 10 hours per day/ 6 days per week

Social benefits Social and health insurance, working contract over Cyprus. Notice at the end of the trial period 1 month

Tips 400 € - 800 € (depends on perfomance)

Language on board Good German and/ or good English language skills required and any additional language would be desirable

Payment of journey Travel costs will be paid by employer

Salary EUR 1150 + Tip

Medical examination Must be provided by candidate

Additional conditions: 1 day off per week, if not feasible would be paid at the end of the contract. Uniform will be paid by the employer.
