Service Engineer - Lifeboat & Safety

A services client focusing on Saftey and Lifesaving equipment is urgently seeking a few service engineers with offshore and maritime experience in Florida and Houston. This person will be traveling and offshore aboard vessels for quite some time throughout the year so traveling is a must. Responsibilities:

• Able to lead team to conduct lifeboat, davit and other life saving appliances inspection onboard vessel/ Shipyard/Oversea (no life raft).
• Able to perform/prepare paperwork and other documentation required (i.e. service reports, certificates, etc.)
• Able to speak proper English to communicate/explain to customers
• Able to perform repair of other parts of lifeboat components.
• Other ad hoc duties assigned.

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in life saving appliances inspection
• Proficient with Microsoft office is a must.
• Good attitude and willingness to learn, committed and hardworking.
• Willingly to work irregulars hours onboard vessel/shipyard and oversea.
• Willingly to travel oversea for job as and when require.
• Prefer those who have own vehicle for transportation.
