Purchasing Manager

Our client is looking for a Purchasing Manager to join their team based in Monaco. The role would be ideally suited to somebody already living in the area.

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Purchasing officer/manager (with shipping purchasing experience) to take the next step in their career.

As Purchasing Manager, you will be the sole purchaser for the company. You will be responsible for the management and control of the procurement and supply of spares, stores and freight forwarding services required for the safe operation of the company's fleet. You will review suppliers to ensure the best purchasing price is achieved, administer shore-based common stock and check costs. Maintaining good relations with suppliers is a crucial aspect of the role.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position
• Strong English language skills (spoken and written)
• Knowledge of NS5 software would be an advantage

You must have the existing right to live and work in the EU.
