Position Summary:
As the Market Research Analyst, you will work within the Market Research Team to oversee the activities, analysis, and reporting of consumer and market research projects for Royal Caribbean International. Research projects generally focus on competitive and consumer insights and trends for use in developing marketing strategies and product enhancements/offerings, brand equity, advertising effectiveness, and guest and trade satisfaction.
Career Snapshot:
- Works collaboratively with the Research Manager in developing research objectives, selecting methodologies, planning research projects, writing and programming questionnaires, analysis and reporting
- Conduct quantitative, qualitative and secondary research studies as required to meet varying needs of stakeholders in the business units
- Monitor and summarize competitive landscape
- Analyze and synthesize learnings from research and secondary sources, drawing conclusions that are actionable, impactful, and accessible for stakeholders
- Monitor sample requests, day to day support, analysis and scheduling of reporting results from on-going tracking studies such as the advertising tracking study, internal omnibus and guest satisfaction programs
- Evaluate, analyze and provide summary reporting of external consumer, industry and competitive information for the use of the marketing, sales and hotel operations teams
- Prepare insightful reports and graphic illustrations of findings within a business context
- Develop discussion guides and conduct focus group research onboard as well as online focus groups or bulletin boards with guests to meet varying needs of the business units
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in a related field
- Three or more years of extensive market research experience on the supplier or client side
- Experience working with programming and fielding consumer surveys, specifically with Qualtrics
