Our client, a leading cruise company, are looking for a Marine Personnel Senior Advisor/ Recruiter to join their team.
This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Deck Officer/Marine Engineer/Marine Recruiter, with a thorough understanding of the marine industry, to take the next step in their career.
In this role you will report directly to the Marine Personnel Manager, and will have Marine Personnel Advisors reporting into you. Responsibilities will include recruiting senior officers, ensuring that the company meets compliance requirements, monitoring performance reviews, preparing yearly manning budgets, providing a professional service to officers and crew on board the companies vessels, representing the Marine Personnel Department on vessel visits, reviewing company policies, assisting during interviews and the recruitment of personnel.
Person Specification:
-Experience working within the Cruise Industry
-Strong organisation and interpersonal skills
-A Marine background and thorough understanding of the industry
-Results driven
-Excellent interpersonal skills
-Familiar with ISM / STCW / ISO Codes and MLC 2006
-A CIPD qualification would be an advantage
-Fluent written and spoken English is essential
