Entertainment Technician LIGHTS Carnival Cuise Line

All Carnival vessels feature state-of-the-art-lighting, laser, special effects, and control systems that require skilled technicians to operate.

The Light Technician is responsible for the safe and proper operation of the lighting & special effects systems in the main theater during all shows and activities (includes full-cast production shows, magic shows, variety shows, Welcome Aboard Show, Carnival Legends Show, Game Show, lounge talks & presentations and more). Ensure the proper functioning of all conventional stage lighting as well as intelligent moving fixtures installed in various venues around the ship (main theater, aft lounge, Lido open deck, the night club, teen clubs, main atrium, etc)

Technicians must have knowledge of maintenance, programming, and board operation of these multi-million dollar systems which are comprised of the finest names in technical theater, including Highend, Vari*Lite, ETC, Martin, Wybron, Wholehog, Jands, ETC, Grand MA, Le Maitre and AMX. Technicians’ duties include: operating equipment used in the evening entertainment, as well as daily shows and activities; upholding safety procedures; facilitating special group requests and ensuring that the rig is fully maintained.

All technicians are provided with food, accommodation and medical insurance.

All Technicians will require to obtain a C1-D Visa and Police Check.

Complete a fully approved Carnival Medical.
