At Costa Cruises, we believe that motivation and challenges create passionate people, and passion makes the difference. We are currently looking for a Creative Director to join our Corporate Marketing Department at the Company’s headquarter in Genoa – Italy.
Job Purpose
To coordinate all creative developments both at HQ level and Country level in all media communications and touch points (end consumer and trade) ensuring coherence with the brand positioning strategy.
The position reports to the International Marketing Communication Director.
Key Accountabilities
- Developing and implementing creative solutions across channels (digital, print, video, photography and social) to increase brand reach and impact.
- Understanding business global needs and local market challenges and transform them into effective, memorable ideas and solutions.
- Supporting the internal and external advertising development, inspiring colleagues from the in-house advertising department and guiding the relationship with external agencies through the whole delivery cycle.
- Getting insights from consumer and trade surveys in order to anticipate trends and gain inputs for improvement of the advertising tools, thus contributing to the brand health and to the achievement of Sales targets.
- Keeping focus on brand positioning strategy and contributing to build a differentiation vs competition approach.
- Coordinating, coaching and developing a team composed of four people.
Job Requirements
- At least 9 years of Creative Agency experience with a strong focus on digital media
- Strong knowledge of design techniques (marketing materials from catalogues to campaigns). The ideal candidate has experience in art directing photo shoots, is proficient in all major design software including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator and is an expert user of presentation tools.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Italian. Other languages will be considered as a plus.
- Ability to read the market and anticipate trends
- Familiar with researches tools and techniques
- Creative, strategic and conceptually-minded approach to design
- Good interpersonal skills combined with a strong personality
- Project management capabilities
- A love for travel and experience in international environments.
