Project Manager

Our client, a ship management company based in Monaco, are looking for a Project Manager to join their team. The position is Monaco based, but will involve travel.

As Project Manager you will report to the Technical Director, ensure that company projects are managed according to group and industry standards, and provide assistance on technical matters.

You will be responsible for the management of significant projects, and will be expected to use developed project management skills to work to build a long term plan for the department. It will be your responsibility to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget and kept to company standards.

Key responsibilities for this role will include preparing budgets and proposals, monitoring various projects simultaneously, preparing project progress reports, mentoring more junior staff and assisting with staff performance reviews

The ideal candidate will have:

• Degree in Marine/Mechanical Engineering or Naval Architecture
• 5 years post graduate experience in naval architecture, marine or electrical engineering
• Significant management/leadership skills
• Accurate knowledge of existing international rules and regulations
• Fluent English language skills
