Cadet Electronics Officer

We are currently looking for Cadet Electronics Officer to join our ships.

Job Purpose

You will be collaborate with the Electronics Officer who is responsible for the maintenance and repair of ship's communication systems, electrical propulsion motors control system, TV systems, telephone systems, automation systems.

Key Accountabilities

• Assisting to the Electronics Officer;
• Analyzing the defects and efficiency of parts and equipment;
• Identifying the source of the technical problem;
• Repairing or changing the damaged electronic devices;
• Verifying that all technical equipments are in proper working condition;
• Ensuring the preventive maintenance of machineries and plants;
• Ensuring the maintenance and reparation of main and auxiliary engines together with their belonging systems and equipment;
• Keeping watch in the Engine Room with particularly busy periods when leaving or entering port.

Requirements

• BSc in Electronics or Electrical Field and Industrial Automation. High school diploma or University degree in Electronics Engineering;
• At least 12 months experience in electronics industry;
• Good written, spoken and technical English;
• Knowledge of Italian language is an advantage;
• Being committed to Safety;
• Good knowledge of basic computer programming;
