The Chief Engineer is the head of the Engine Department and the senior technical officer onboard, responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical and electrical equipment. This includes propulsion systems, power generation, air conditioning, and safety systems. They ensure the ship operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all environmental regulations.
