CANDIDATE NEEDS C1/D VISA AND STCW CERTIFICATIONS FOR CRUISE VESSELS IN ORDER TO APPLY

Hotel Director for the 90 passenger deluxe boutique vessel M/S Tere Moana - Starting date mid February 2012 - 3 months on / 3 months off rotation.

From mid October to mid December 2012: F&B Manager on the five-star M/S Paul Gauguin to familiarize with the product.

Supervising and managing all aspects of the hotel department on the Tere Moana: Dining areas, bars, galley, reception desk, boutique, administration, store rooms, housekeeping, shore excursions etc.

Achieving financial, budgetary and profitability objectives as set out by the Company.  Preparing/supervising End of Voyage and End of Month reports, which includes administrative, financial and inventory reports and documentation. Preparing/supervising purchase orders and container orders.

Providing/supervising on-the-job training and record keeping thereof. Conducting meetings to maximize crew morale and productivity, and to foster a sense of community. Evaluating individual hotel crew performances. Ensuring disciplinary action is taken when required, utilizing fairness and respect within the framework of the company guidelines.

Responding to guest and crew welfare and service needs. Ensuring that all guest request, inquiries and concerns are responded to promptly .Ensuring maintenance and repairs required in the hotel department are performed. Monitoring hotel operations activities, performing inspections and taking corrective action when required. Ensuring that company food safety and sanitation standards are maintained throughout the hotel department. Liaising with the Deck and Engine department regarding operational matters.
