490.0.c Primary Objective of Position:
.1 Providing guests with prompt, friendly, informative and personalized service at the Spa
.2 Supervising spa personnel and maintaining the spa area to ensure that it is presentable, clean and orderly at all times
.3 Oversees the entire spa operation on board
.4 Managing onboard training for spa personnel following Deep Nature standards in order to ensure the highest standards of services
.5 Develop Spa revenues with promotions, and improving personnel abilities to achieve sales goals
490.0.d Major Areas of Responsibility
.1 Guests
• Actively interacting with guests in order to identify expectations and needs and fulfill them before they turn into an issue,
• Ensuring that all guests (special) requests, inquires, and spa treatments are responded to.
• Effectively handling any guest complaints that may occur during service, suggesting solutions and alternatives to guarantee effective guest recovery,
• Reporting unsolved guest concerns immediately to the Hotel Director
• Ensuring that crew greets and smiles at guests.
• Providing personalized service by addressing guests with names
• Answering questions about spa treatments and products
.2 Administration
• Taking reservations at the desk or by telephone, maintaining the reservations log and calendar
• Using and operating the Micros and Fidelio system for billing and financial reporting
• Providing inventories, sales and cruise reports
• Reporting maintenance and repair issues
• Updating pricing information
• Ordering of supplies, ensuring to maintain par stock levels
• Verifying expiration dates of products and take appropriate actions accordingly
• Monitor the Spa storage (deliveries/storage/invoices)
• Organizing promotions, demonstrations and related cocktail parties, and preparing paperwork in relation to such
• Organizing the window displays
• Report any Spa issue to his superior

318.0 Spa
318.0.a The Spa provides the following services as per Deep Nature Spa’s policies and procedures, and include but are not limited to:
.1 Hair Dressing
.2 Massage and body treatments
.3 Beauty treatments (facials, manicure, pedicure, make-up, etc.)
.4 Sauna and Hammam
318.0.b The Spa is selling the following products:
.1 Hair products
.2 Beauty products
.3 Deep Nature Spa logo items
318.0.c The Spa is open all days, including port days.
.1 The Hotel Director indicates the opening hours, which are posted in the Daily Program.
.2 On Embarkation Day the Spa is open during embarkation of guests, during which guests are shown around and informed about the different Spa services.
318.0.d The Spa Reception Desk is manned by the Spa Manager, or if he/she is not available by any of the Staff not treating guests.
318.1 Spa Advertising
318.1.a Opening hours for the Spa are indicated every day in the Daily Program.
.1 Included in the Daily Program are instructions on where to make a reservation:
• At the Spa Reception
• Via the telephone (a telephone number is given for Spa Reservations)
318.1.b Attractive brochures are available, explaining in detail the Spa services.
318.1.c Packages (specials) are offered to guests and are advertised or listed in the Daily Programs if approved by the Hotel Director.
