River Cruise Job - Sailor / Deck Hand

We are looking for experienced candidates for Sailor on board for Luxury 5** River Cruise Ships in Europe 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• General maintenance of the vessel as directed.
• Cleanliness and appearance of the ship.
• Maintaining gangway in safe condition when the vessel is in port.
• Dismantling and reinstalling deck rail and sun tent, according to water level and bridge height.
• Cleanliness and order of the sundeck and clean windows.
• For all nautical-technical matters and for any repairs required in the hotel areas during lay up.
• Care of safety equipment.
• When travelling under low bridges, to be on the sundeck and warn guests on the sundeck and to block the stairs.
• Mooring and anchoring operations.
• Porter in uniform when boarding and disembarking.
• Other duties as required.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Holding Schifferdienstbuch with German stamp with position Matrose
• At least 2 years experience as sailor on the river cruise ship on Rhine/Maine/Danube
• Excellent communication skills 
• Fluency in English and/or German

€3,000 - €3,500.00 plus shared tips onboard approx €600
